Love My Color-Challenge #8

It's been a while since I last posted...Over a year to be exact. But nothing like a contest challenge to bring me back. I am entering The Pink Stamper National scrapbook day challenge. The first card I made was for the Love My Color Challenge #8. It is a monochromatic card using Taken with teal card stock and Tempting Turquoise ink from Stampin' Up! I also added some turquoise pearlex powder and a stamped saying also from Stampin' Up! The ribbon and pearl brad are from American Crafts. The floral emboss folder from Cuddlebug. The flower is from Paisley Cartridge and the Marquee from Storybook cartridge.

Take Shape-Challenge #9

My last challenge that I made was for Take Shape challenge #9. I used the cute doll figures from the Cricut Paisley cartridge to make a bride and groom. I added a veil with the lace edge scallop punch and also some vellum from Stampin'Up! The boutonniere and wedding bouquet come from the Story Book Cricut cartridge. I used some Cuddlebug emboss folders to add texture and design to the bride and groom's outfits. I added some bling to the top of the brides veil and a top hat for the groom using an upside down basket from the Doodlebug Cricut cartridge. Inside the card I stamped Happiness always from Stampin' Up! and layered it on a marquee cut from the Storybook Cricut cartridge.

May Day

My next challenge I took on was the May Day Challenge #10. For this card I used some retired designer paper, ribbon and scallop lace edge punch from Stampin'Up! The Cuts are all from the Story Book Cricut Cartridge. Brads from American Crafts.
